GREECE — Two people were arrested after allegedly robbing a man at gunpoint at a local hotel, according to Greece police.
Officers responded to Woodspring Suites at 145 Bellwood Drive at 3:50 p.m. on March 7 for a reported robbery.
The victim told police that two suspects threatened him with a firearm before stealing his property and fleeing the scene.
Detectives later discovered the stolen items being sold on social media, which led to the identification of the suspects.
Zahmir C. Brown, 19, of Rochester, and Stephanie J. Davis, 20, of Greece, were safely apprehended during a traffic stop, and the victim’s property was recovered.
Both suspects were charged with second-degree robbery, a Class C felony, and third-degree grand larceny, a Class D felony.
The suspects were issued appearance tickets to Greece Town Court.
