EAST WINDSOR — A routine patrol by East Windsor police led to a significant drug and weapons seizure at a local hotel parking lot Tuesday morning.
Lieutenant Leab discovered an unresponsive man sitting in a parked vehicle at the Comfort Inn, with drug paraphernalia visibly protruding from his shirt pocket.
A search of the individual yielded approximately 900 bags of heroin and 2.5 grams of cocaine, according to police.
Officers also confiscated $1,892 in cash believed to be proceeds from drug sales.
The search additionally uncovered an unserialized “ghost gun” with a high-capacity magazine and aftermarket extender.
The suspect’s identity and charges have not yet been released as the investigation continues.
