NORTH BRANFORD — Three people were injured in a motor vehicle accident on Foxon Road near Doral Farms Road Thursday afternoon.
The North Branford 911 center received multiple calls reporting the crash at 3:04 p.m.
North Branford Police Officers and the North Branford Fire Department responded to the scene.
Three individuals with significant injuries were transported from the scene, including one person who had to be extricated from a vehicle.
Foxon Road was temporarily shut down between Forest Road and Caputo Road due to the investigation and presence of numerous first responders, but has since reopened.
The accident is currently under investigation.
AMR provided mutual aid assistance at the scene.
