WAREHAM — A 20-year-old Rochester man died Tuesday following a motorcycle crash on Cranberry Highway near Patterson Brook Road.
Wareham police officers, along with Wareham Fire and EMS personnel, responded to the scene at approximately 1:55 p.m. on March 4.
Upon arrival, officers found the motorcycle rider had been ejected and was being assisted by Good Samaritans.
Officers helped provide medical aid until Wareham Fire and EMS arrived.
The 20-year-old male rider was pronounced dead at the scene by Wareham EMS.
The driver of the other vehicle involved, a 67-year-old man from Northbridge, remained at the location.
The crash is currently under investigation by the Wareham Police Department, Massachusetts State Police detectives assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office, and troopers from the Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
