Weymouth police arrest suspect in pharmacy armed robbery

WEYMOUTH — The Weymouth Police Department announced the arrest of a suspect in connection with an armed robbery that occurred at a local CVS Pharmacy on Feb. 26.

Nathan A. Kilian, 25, was taken into custody on March 4 at approximately 2:40 a.m. at South Shore Hospital.

Kilian, who is currently listed as homeless, has been charged with multiple serious offenses related to the incident.

On Feb. 26, at approximately 9:25 p.m., an armed robbery was reported at the CVS Pharmacy located at 474 Washington Street.

The suspect entered the store brandishing a firearm and robbed the pharmacy of an undisclosed amount of medication before fleeing the scene prior to police arrival.

Immediately following the report, officers conducted a comprehensive search of the area surrounding the pharmacy.

Despite an exhaustive search, the suspect was not located the evening of the robbery.

Kilian is facing charges including armed robbery with a firearm, assault with intent to rob, larceny over $1,200, larceny from a person, and larceny of a drug.

Kilian was held overnight at Weymouth Police Headquarters and is scheduled to be arraigned today at Quincy District Court.
