GEDDES — A Syracuse man has been arrested on charges of sexual abuse and child endangerment in connection with a 2022 incident in Geddes.

Jason A. Bissell, 38, was taken into custody on Feb. 27.

He faces charges of sexual abuse in the first degree, a class D felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.

The charges stem from a June 2022 incident involving a 7-year-old victim at a residence in Geddes.

Bissell was already incarcerated at the Onondaga County Justice Center on previous charges at the time of his arrest.

He was arraigned on the new charges the same day in Onondaga County CAP Court.
