EVERETT — The Everett Police Special Criminal Investigations Unit executed a search warrant Friday at a residential location on Wave Ave in Revere as part of a drug trafficking investigation in the Greater Boston Area.

The search, conducted around 11 a.m., followed an investigation led by the Everett Police Department with the assistance of the Revere Police Department.

Court-authorized search warrants were obtained from the Chelsea District Court, resulting in the arrest of German Munera Gomez of 39 Wave Ave, Apt. 3 in Revere.

Gomez was charged with trafficking cocaine over 100 grams, possession of a Class B substance (cocaine) with intent to distribute, and two default warrants out of Boston for narcotic-related offenses from 2013.

During the operation, several scales, drug equipment, and approximately $3,000 in U.S. currency were seized.

The investigation into Gomez’s true identity is ongoing due to several fraudulent documents discovered during the search.

Assistance was also provided by the MSP Suffolk Gang Unit during the operation.
