Greece police arrest two in urgent care robbery, assault

GREECE — The Greece Police Department has arrested two suspects in connection with a robbery and assault that occurred Jan. 23 outside the UR Urgent Care at 2047 W. Ridge Rd.

Daequon Brown, 24, of Fairport, and Rashad Turner, 28, of Rochester, have been charged with first-degree robbery and second-degree assault.

Both suspects were taken into custody Feb. 17 with assistance from the Rochester Police Department.

During the arrest, Turner was found to be in possession of a handgun and faces additional charges with the Rochester Police Department.

According to the Greece Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division, Brown and Turner attacked the victim and stole a gold chain before fleeing the scene.

Both suspects are being held at the Monroe County Jail with bail set at $50,000 cash, $100,000 bond or $350,000 partially secured.

They are scheduled to appear in Greece Town Court on Feb. 21 at 4:30 p.m.
