ST. JOHNSBURY — A 29-year-old St. Johnsbury woman was arrested Friday morning on drug possession charges and multiple outstanding warrants.
Troopers from the Vermont State Police located Myisha Reid on South Main Street at approximately 9 a.m. on Feb. 14.
Troopers believed Reid had an outstanding warrant, which was confirmed during their investigation.
Reid was taken into custody without incident.
During a search, troopers found a clear bag containing a powdery substance believed to be a narcotic on her person.
Reid was transported to the Vermont State Police barracks for processing.
She appeared in Caledonia County Superior Court to answer for the outstanding warrant, which included charges of violation of probation, fraud, unlawful trespass, petit larceny, unlawful mischief, and violation of conditions of release.
Reid was cited to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court on April 21 at 8:30 a.m. to answer for the narcotics charge.
She was transported to Northeast Correctional Complex and held on $500 bail for the outstanding warrant.
