SHELTON — In January, the Shelton Police Joint Task Force and the New Haven District Office Task Force initiated multiple joint investigations in collaboration with Homeland Security Investigations and Enforcement and Removal Operations.
On Jan. 30, members of the New Haven District Office Task Force, Homeland Security Investigations, Enforcement and Removal Operations, and the Shelton Police Joint Task Force executed a federal arrest and search warrant in Shelton, leading to the arrest of Hatem Salem.
During the operation, law enforcement seized a significant quantity of narcotics, drug paraphernalia, and $369,330 in U.S. currency.
All seized items were cataloged as evidence as part of the ongoing investigation.
As the investigation continued, Jennifer Glenn of Shelton was arrested in February on narcotics and fugitive from justice charges.
