BARTON — A 57-year-old man has been arrested on charges of lewd and lascivious conduct with a child following a joint investigation by the Vermont State Police and the Vermont Department of Children and Families.
Rodney Libbey of Barton was taken into custody on Feb. 14 after authorities received a report of suspected sexual abuse on Feb. 3.
Libbey is scheduled to appear in court on March 25.
The Vermont State Police does not release the names of victims of sexual assault or domestic violence.
