EAST CHARLESTON — The NorthWoods Stewardship Center will host its annual Valentine’s Day Candlelit Snowshoe event February 14, featuring a lantern-lit trail and live music.

The three-quarter-mile illuminated trail winds through the center’s wooded campus. The evening includes a bonfire for stargazing, followed by warm beverages and refreshments in the lodge, accompanied by classical guitarist Ben Kinsley.

The center seeks volunteers to help with setting up and lighting lanterns, assisting guests with snowshoes, tending the bonfire, and food preparation. Those interested in volunteering should contact Kelsey Evans at [email protected].

Two sessions are available at 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. Snowshoes are available for those who need them.

Tickets are $20 for individuals and $30 for pairs, with children 12 and under admitted free. Pre-registration is required due to parking limitations.
