NORTH BRANFORD — At 11:24 a.m. today, Sergeant Hannon observed a vehicle traveling south on Forest Road drift toward the shoulder and collide with the guardrail at the intersection of Forest Road and Mill Road.
Upon approaching the vehicle, he discovered the operator unresponsive and suffering from a medical emergency.
Sergeant Hannon forced entry into the vehicle and immediately began life-saving emergency care until the North Branford Fire Department arrived on scene.
NBFD personnel provided advanced life-saving treatment and transported the operator to Yale New Haven Hospital.
At this time, the operator’s condition remains unknown, and their identity will not be released until the family has been notified.
