LYNDONVILLE — A 70-year-old Lyndonville man was arrested Monday on multiple charges involving a juvenile victim, according to Vermont State Police.
Edward Cram was taken into custody following an investigation by state police and the Department for Children and Families.
The investigation began after mandated reporters alerted authorities to suspected sexual crimes involving a juvenile.
Cram faces charges including two counts of lewd and lascivious conduct with a child, three counts of disseminating indecent material to a minor in the presence of a minor, and one count of luring a child.
He was arrested at a private residence on Depot Street and transported to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.
Cram was later lodged at the Northeast Correctional Complex, where he was ordered held without bail.
Cram is scheduled to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court on Feb. 11 at 12:30 p.m. for arraignment.
