DORSET — A South Carolina man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following a motor vehicle complaint in Dorset on Friday night.
Troopers from the Shaftsbury Barracks responded to the area of Vermont Route 30 and Danby Mountain Road at approximately 9:26 p.m. on Feb. 7 after receiving a report about a vehicle.
Upon arrival, troopers identified the operator as 32-year-old Jack S. Vojnar of Summerville, S.C.
During the interaction, troopers observed signs of impairment and subsequently placed Vojnar under arrest for suspicion of DUI.
Vojnar was transported to the Manchester Police Department for processing.
He was issued a citation to appear at the Bennington County Superior Court-Criminal Division on March 3 at 8:30 a.m. to answer to the charge of DUI.
