Lyndonville officer makes two arrests during traffic stop

LYNDONVILLE — A Lyndonville Police Department officer made two arrests during a traffic stop on Memorial Drive on Feb. 8 at 11:11 a.m.

Brittany MacDougall, 31, of Wheelock, was arrested on an active warrant issued by Caledonia Superior Court for failure to appear on a charge of driving while criminally suspended.

MacDougall was a passenger in the vehicle at the time of the stop.

The operator of the vehicle, Jamie Cates, 29, of Barnet, was cited for driving after criminal suspension due to prior DUI actions and for violating conditions of release.

Cates is scheduled to be arraigned in Caledonia Superior Court on March 24 at 8:30 a.m.

MacDougall was transported to Northeast Regional Correctional Facility and held on $50 cash or surety bail.
