St. johnsbury man cited for burglary, unlawful mischief

ST. JOHNSBURY — On Feb. 7 at 5:25 a.m., the St. Johnsbury Police responded to a burglary alarm at Champlain Farms.

The alarm company called the store and a male identified himself as Lucien Riggie.

Officers arrived and located Riggie inside the store after breaking a large window to gain entry.

Lucien J. Riggie, 39, of St. Johnsbury was taken into custody without incident.

Riggie was cited to appear at 1 p.m. on Feb. 7 to answer the charges of burglary, felony unlawful mischief and petit larceny from a building.

Riggie was turned over to Probation and Parole to await his arraignment.
