Shaftsbury woman’s dirt bike stolen, police seek information

SHAFTSBURY — A report of grand larceny involving a stolen 2023 White Husqvarna FC250 dirt bike was filed with the Vermont State Police on Jan. 20 at 10:27 a.m.

The bike, belonging to 53-year-old Beth Thompson of Shaftsbury, is uniquely marked with a #331 on the front and both sides, along with a yellow stripe and sponsorship logos from D’Eramo Contracting, P27 Off Road, and Edelmann.

Authorities have not identified a suspect and are appealing to the public for any information that could lead to the recovery of the dirt bike and the apprehension of the responsible party.

A photo of the actual dirt bike has been distributed in hopes that witnesses can assist in locating the stolen property.
