MANCHESTER — A woman previously at the heart of a missing person investigation is now facing legal repercussions for allegedly endangering her child.
Nicole Wise, 29, who was reported missing in late December, was found safe in early January.
The case took a turn when authorities determined Wise had left of her own accord, resulting in an arrest warrant issued for Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
Wise was last seen at her Orange Street residence on Christmas Eve.
Upon returning home from work, her boyfriend discovered Wise absent and their 4-year-old child unattended in the apartment.
Initial concern for her well-being was heightened due to her wallet and phone being left behind.
After the investigation concluded that her disappearance was voluntary, Wise turned herself in to Manchester police earlier this month.
She is currently awaiting further legal proceedings in the matter.
