RICHFORD — Vermont State Police arrested a local man on multiple warrants after troopers became aware of his outstanding charges on the evening of Jan. 17.
Ty Morrison, 38, of Richford, was taken into custody at his residence on Sandy Hill Drive at 8:23 p.m. after troopers located him with the assistance of the U.S. Border Patrol.
Morrison had active arrest warrants for a slew of charges including disorderly conduct, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, unlawful mischief, domestic assault, interference with access to emergency services, violation of conditions of release, and providing false information to a law enforcement officer.
Following his arrest, Morrison was transported to Northwest State Correctional Facility.
He is being held on $3,200 bail for the warrants.
