Milwaukee homicide suspect nabbed in Lowell, MA

LOWELL — A Milwaukee man wanted for homicide was arrested in Lowell on Jan. 16, following a coordinated effort by multiple law enforcement agencies.

Bryan Marrero-Carrasco, 24, was apprehended by members of the Lowell Police Department/Middlesex Sheriff’s Office Warrant Apprehension Unit, Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section, and the United States Marshals Service District of Massachusetts Fugitive Task Force.

The arrest was made possible by intelligence gathered by the United States Marshals Service Eastern Wisconsin Violent Offender Task Force – Milwaukee.

Marrero-Carrasco, who had an arrest warrant charging him with First Degree Reckless Homicide in Milwaukee, was taken into custody without incident and charged as a Fugitive From Justice.

Following his arrest, Marrero-Carrasco appeared in court and was ordered to be held at the Middlesex Jail and House of Correction.

He awaits extradition proceedings to face charges in Wisconsin.
