Rhode Island State Police make multiple arrests following investigations and incidents

PROVIDENCE — Rhode Island State Police announced a series of arrests on Tuesday following separate incidents, including charges of fraud, reckless driving, and driving under the influence.

At 9:19 a.m., Troopers from the Scituate Barracks apprehended Victor Bulux, 31, of Providence, on an active affidavit and arrest warrant.

Bulux faced multiple charges, including three counts of Obtaining Money by False Pretenses, three counts of False Statement to Fraudulently Obtain License or Registration, and three counts of Forgery and Counterfeiting in General.

The arrest followed a barracks investigation, after which Bulux turned himself in at State Police Headquarters.

He was processed and brought before the Sixth District Court for arraignment.

Later that morning at 11:30 a.m., Gina Dorsi, 56, of South Kingstown, was arrested for Reckless Driving as a result of a motor vehicle crash on Route 295 in Warwick.

An investigation led to Dorsi’s arrest, and she was misdemeanor released from the scene with a scheduled future court date at the Third District Court.

In the evening, at 6:51 p.m., John Traylor, 45, of Providence, was taken into custody for multiple offenses including Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicating Liquor/Drugs – B.A.C.

Unknown – First Offense, Refusal to Submit to a Chemical Test- Second Offense, Disorderly Conduct, and Obstructing an Officer in Execution of their Duty.

Following his arrest, Traylor was brought to State Police Headquarters, processed, and held overnight as a bail violator.

He was awaiting arraignment the next morning at the Third District Court.
