OLD TOWN — Maine State Police and the Old Town Police Department have issued a Silver Alert for 87-year-old Wayne Dionne, who has been missing since Wednesday morning.
Dionne was last seen at his residence on Seventh Street in Old Town and was supposed to travel to an appointment in Augusta.
He left his home around 8:30 a.m. but never arrived at his destination and has not returned.
The missing man is described as a white male, standing 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighing approximately 200 pounds, with gray hair and blue eyes.
Dionne, who suffers from cognitive issues, has a distinct birthmark on the side of his face and wears glasses.
He was last known to be driving a gray 2017 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup truck bearing Maine registration 1002SR.
Authorities are urging anyone with information on Dionne’s whereabouts to contact the Old Town Police Department at 207.624.7076 ext. 9.
