Barton man arrested for DUI #3 offense

BARTON — A local man was arrested late Friday night on suspicion of driving under the influence, marking his third DUI offense, according to Vermont State Police.

Gerald Davignon, 31, was pulled over for a motor vehicle violation on Main Street at about 10:55 p.m.

State troopers identified signs of impairment during their interaction with Davignon and conducted a DUI screening.

Following the screening, Davignon was taken into custody and transported to the Vermont State Police Derby Barracks for processing.

He was later lodged at Northern State Correctional Facility.

The incident remains under investigation, and further details will be released as they become available.
