WICKFORD — A Connecticut man was arrested Saturday evening for reckless driving, street racing and eluding police after fleeing from a traffic stop earlier that day.
Troopers took Andrew Zichichi, 20, of Killingworth, Connecticut, into custody at 7:09 p.m. at the Wickford Barracks, following an investigation prompted by his flight from an attempted vehicle stop.
Zichichi turned himself in at the barracks, where he was processed and arraigned by a Justice of the Peace.
He was released on his own recognizance and is set to appear at a future date in Third District Court.
