Portsmouth police seek person of interest in downtown vandalism spree

PORTSMOUTH — Portsmouth police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a person of interest connected to a series of vandalism incidents that occurred in the downtown area on June 1.

Multiple businesses were targeted early Saturday morning around 2:24 a.m., resulting in property damage.

Authorities have released photographs of the individual they believe may be involved and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
