Wayland police investigate car break-ins, vehicle thefts

WAYLAND — The Wayland Police Department is investigating several motor vehicle break-ins and the theft of two vehicles that occurred overnight in the areas of Caulfield Road and Aqueduct Road.

The incidents took place early on June 2, with officers now intensively patrolling the neighborhoods.

Authorities urge residents to secure their vehicles, lock doors, and avoid leaving valuables inside, particularly car keys, during the night.

The police are also requesting community assistance; homeowners with security cameras or RING doorbells that may have recorded suspicious activities between 3 a.m. and 7 a.m. are encouraged to contact the Wayland Police Department at (508) 358-4721 with any relevant footage or information.

The investigation is ongoing as officers continue to gather evidence and work to identify those responsible for the vehicle-related crimes.
