Carlisle police find missing 14-year-old safe

CARLISLE — The Carlisle Police Department confirmed Monday morning that Alexander Sutton, the 14-year-old who was reported missing last Friday, has been found and is safe.

Sutton was last seen at 2 p.m. Friday on foot, wearing flip flops, a T-shirt, and shorts.

Authorities were concerned as he did not have a phone with him and frequently walked the trails near Great Brook Farm and the area towards Kimball Farm Ice Cream.

The police department expressed their gratitude for the public’s tips and acknowledged the assistance provided by law enforcement partners, including the Chelmsford Police Department, Billerica Police, Westford Police Department, Concord MA Police Department, Town of Acton Police, Bedford Massachusetts Police Department, and the Massachusetts State Police.

The Carlisle Police Department had urged anyone who had seen Alexander or had information on his whereabouts to immediately contact them at 978-369-1155.

Further details regarding Sutton’s disappearance and how he was found have not yet been released.
