Search underway for Highgate man missing from St. Albans hospital

ST. ALBANS — Troopers from the St. Albans Barracks are conducting an extensive search for a 56-year-old Highgate man, Roy Bockus, who left Northwestern Medical Center on foot the evening of June 6.

According to authorities, Bockus was last seen around 9 p.m. walking west into St Albans City.

He was wearing a light orange shirt and jeans at the time of his disappearance.

Officials have expressed concerns for his welfare and are urging the public to come forward with any information that may assist in locating him.

The Vermont State Police are asking anyone with knowledge of Bockus’ current whereabouts to contact Trooper Harkins at 802-524-5993.

A photograph of Roy Bockus has been distributed with this public appeal in hopes that community members might recognize him and provide valuable information leading to his safe return.
