Lyndon man arrested on outstanding warrant

ST. JOHNSBURY — A Lyndon man was arrested on an outstanding warrant Wednesday afternoon at a local hospital, authorities said.

Jack Granger, 34, was taken into custody around 3:32 p.m. at 1097 Hospital Drive after Lyndonville Police responded to a call for assistance from the Vermont State Police.

According to the Lyndonville Police Department, Granger was known to have an active arrest warrant issued by the Orleans County Superior Court.

The details of the warrant were not immediately disclosed.

Granger was lodged at the Northeast Regional Correctional Facility and is being held in lieu of $200 cash or surety bond, pending further court proceedings.
