Springfield man surrenders on outstanding warrant, held on bail

SPRINGFIELD — Springfield police reported that Andrew Wilson, a local resident, turned himself into authorities Friday evening on an active in-state warrant.

According to the Springfield Police Department’s press release, Wilson arrived at the station at approximately 6:42 p.m. and was taken into custody without incident after a records check confirmed the outstanding warrant.

Wilson has been issued a criminal citation to appear before the Vermont Superior Court, Criminal Division, in White River Junction on Monday at 12:30 p.m.

He is currently being held at the Southern State Correctional Facility with bail set at $200, either cash or surety.
