NAHANT — Nahant Police Department expressed gratitude to two individuals who assisted in a hit-and-run accident on the Causeway Friday afternoon.
While responding to the incident involving a local resident’s vehicle, Lt. Shultz received unexpected aid from resident Michael Lewis and another person.
Together, they helped the motorist change a tire, enabling a quicker resolution to the situation.
The department publicly thanked Lewis and his associate for their selfless assistance, highlighting the importance of community support in emergency situations.
Details regarding the hit-and-run are still under investigation.
