I-93 reopens after fatal crash investigation in Windham

WINDHAM — State Troopers have reopened both northbound and southbound lanes of Interstate 93 following a fatal crash investigation that caused significant traffic disruptions earlier today.

According to New Hampshire State Police, the preliminary investigation revealed that the incident occurred on the southbound side of I-93, with the victim being found on the northbound side.

The crash remains under investigation, and further details will be shared as they become available.

The initial call came in at 9:54 a.m. on Tuesday, June 4, reporting a rollover accident on the northbound side of I-93 between exits 2 and 3.

Upon arrival, State Troopers discovered an adult male deceased.

The subsequent investigation by members of Troop B and Troop G led to traffic being funneled into the breakdown lane on the northbound side, causing delays throughout the morning and early afternoon.

Drivers had been advised to seek alternate routes and to expect potential delays.

With the lanes now reopened, traffic flow is expected to gradually return to normal.
