Woman arrested on DUI charges after crash in Cambridge

CAMBRIDGE — Troopers from the Vermont State Police – Williston Barracks arrested a 35-year-old Johnson woman on suspicion of DUI after her vehicle was found down an embankment early Saturday morning.

Ashley McCauliff was taken into custody following a roadside investigation on VT 108 N near Fisher Road.

State police responded to the scene around 3:18 a.m. after receiving reports of the accident.

Upon arrival, troopers observed signs of impairment with McCauliff and initiated a DUI investigation.

She was subsequently transported to the Williston Barracks for processing.

Following processing, McCauliff was released with a criminal citation.

She is scheduled to appear before the Lamoille County Superior Court to face DUI charges at a later date.
