FERRISBURGH — A three-vehicle accident on Kellogg Bay Road resulted in the arrest of a local woman on suspicion of driving under the influence Thursday evening.

At approximately 5:34 p.m., Troopers were called to the scene near the intersection of Kellogg Bay Road and Riverview Road.

Upon arrival, they discovered that a 2021 Volkswagen Tiguan, operated by Stacy Paquin, 52, of Ferrisburgh, had lost control and rolled, causing damage to two parked cars—a 2024 Mazda CX-50 and a 2023 Tesla Model Y.

Paquin, who was wearing her seat belt at the time of the crash, sustained suspected moderate injuries.

However, she declined EMS transport at the scene.

During the investigation, Troopers observed signs of impairment and conducted a field sobriety test.

Paquin was arrested for DUI and taken to the New Haven Barracks for further processing, where she refused Evidentiary Testing.

Following her arrest, Paquin complained of increasing pain from her injuries and was transported to Porter Medical Center for treatment.

She was later released on a citation to appear in Addison County Superior Court, Criminal Division, on a date to be determined.

The operator of the Mazda, Ariel Rotax, 36, of Elkton, Florida, was unharmed in the incident.

The Tesla Model Y was unoccupied at the time of the collision.

Both vehicles sustained driver’s side damage.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
