Burglary at Center Tower in St. Johnsbury

ST. JOHNSBURY — Vermont State Police are investigating a burglary at Center Tower on Memorial Drive after an unknown person broke into the building and stole cigarettes.

Authorities were notified of the incident on May 31, just after the burglary reportedly occurred at around 3:30 a.m. The suspect reportedly forced entry into Center Tower, though it is unclear how the individual gained access to the building.

Investigators are seeking assistance from the public and have released a picture of the person believed to be responsible for the crime.

The image was captured by security cameras during the incident.

Vermont State Police urge anyone with information about the burglary or who recognizes the individual in the photo to contact them immediately.

As of now, no arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.

The value of the stolen cigarettes has not been disclosed.
