PELHAM — A registered sex offender was arrested May 6 after allegedly providing false information on his registration form.

Robert C. Kreisz, 50, completed his Sex Offender Registration form in February and failed to disclose required information, according to the Pelham Police Department.

The arrest warrant issued was for a class B felony.

After being processed, Kreisz met with a bail commissioner and was released on personal recognizance bail, with a court date set for June 17 at 8 a.m. at the Salem District Court.

However, following his release, Pelham detectives were notified by the New Hampshire State Parole and Probation Department.

Kreisz was subsequently taken into custody due to the current investigation and a separate probe by the state agency.

He is now being held at the New Hampshire State Prison for a probation violation.
