Windham man arrested on multiple warrants

WINDHAM — Vermont State Police took 51-year-old Gary Clay into custody on May 27 after executing outstanding warrants that included charges of petit larceny, interlock device violation, and vehicle operation without the owner’s consent.

Troopers from the Westminster Barracks responded to a report on Howard Hill Rd at approximately 1:14 p.m. and arrested Clay without incident.

The Windham resident faced two counts of petit larceny, a probation violation, as well as the unauthorized use of a vehicle, among other charges.

The Vermont State Police have not released additional details about the warrants or the circumstances leading to Clay’s arrest.

The case remains under investigation.
