GEORGIA — Vermont State Police have identified David Peake, 68, as the individual responsible for a series of littering incidents at scenic pull-offs on Highbridge Road.
The littering was also located at a wooded area on Arrowhead Lake Road in Georgia over the past several years.
Peake received a Vermont Civil Violation Complaint for violating Title 24, VSA, Section 2201, with a waiver fine of $800.
The investigation and cleanup efforts were largely conducted by a local group.
Police say their information and evidence led to Peake’s identification.
