Missing Suffield children found safe

1 min read

SUFFIELD — Two children from Suffield who were reported missing have been found safe, local authorities confirmed today.

The Suffield Police Department expressed gratitude to the community and everyone who assisted in the search for the siblings.

The children, Serenity Bizeau, 12, and Jaime Bizeau III, 7, had been the subject of a Silver Alert after they and their parents failed to attend a scheduled court hearing on May 23.

The Department of Children and Families had been involved with the family since November, prompting concerns for the children’s welfare.

Prior to being located, it was believed the children were with their parents, Jamie Bizeau, born Aug. 8, 1988, and Beatrice Gonzalez-Casiano, born Nov. 16, 1991.

They were thought to be traveling in an unregistered black van with illegal paper registration plates.

The Suffield Police Department had released photos of Serenity and Jaime Bizeau III and had urged the public to report any sightings to the police immediately.

The police have not released any further details about where or how the children were found at this time, but they have canceled the Silver Alert and confirmed that the children are now safe.
