Two charged in overdose death after selling fentanyl in Conway

CONCORD — Attorney General John M. Formella and Conway Police Chief Christopher Mattei announced the indictment of James Gray, 47, and Cory Sellers, 39, by the Carroll County Grand Jury in connection with the overdose death of Jordan Stocker in Conway on Oct. 20.

Gray and Sellers face one count each of Sale of a Controlled Drug – Death Resulting for the alleged knowing sale of fentanyl to Stocker, who subsequently died from using the drug.

Additionally, Gray has been indicted on one count of Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Drug for allegedly possessing over two ounces of methamphetamine at his arrest.

Both men are currently held without bail and are scheduled for arraignment on June 14 in Carroll County Superior Court.

The investigation, which led to Gray’s additional charge, involved the New Hampshire Attorney General’s Drug Task Force under the leadership of Commander Ellen Arcieri.
