READING — Authorities in Reading are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a small silver sedan, believed to be an older model Honda Accord, in connection with an assault on a child.
The incident occurred last Friday on Minot Street at approximately 4:30 p.m.
A 10-year-old resident was shot in the face with an Orbeez gun, which fires small gel pellets filled with water, while walking with a friend.
The Reading Police Department has released the only available photo of the vehicle involved in the assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Community members with information about the sedan or its occupants are urged to contact Reading Police at 781-944-1212.
The department is keen to locate the individuals responsible for the attack on the young victim.
