Lincoln police investigate vandalism at town hall, library

LINCOLN — Lincoln Police Department officers reported today that they are investigating acts of vandalism at the Old Town Hall Exchange and the Lincoln Public Library.

Authorities were called to the Old Town Hall Exchange where they found a P.O. Box door violently torn from its hinges.

Investigators believe the incident occurred sometime between Friday and Saturday.

In a separate event, the Lincoln Public Library suffered damage when a rock was used to break one of its windows.

Police estimate the library vandalism happened between Sunday and Monday.

The Lincoln Police Department is seeking assistance from the public.
