Burlington man arrested on DUI, drug charges in Franklin County

GEORGIA — A Burlington man was arrested early Sunday morning on charges including suspicion of driving under the influence and possession of regulated drugs, Vermont State Police said.

Officers responded to multiple calls about a suspicious vehicle operated by 40-year-old Oliver Reed on Polly Hubbard Road around 8:26 a.m.

An investigation led to Reed’s arrest for suspected DUI.

Authorities also found regulated drugs in his possession at the time of the arrest.

Reed was processed and issued a citation to appear in Franklin County Superior Court on July 15 at 8:30 a.m.
