CONCORD — New Hampshire State Police arrested a Rockingham County auto dealership owner today for neglecting to provide a certificate of title to a customer after the sale of a vehicle.
Jordan T. Shallow, 42, of Plaistow, was taken into custody by the Troop G Investigations Unit after failing to deliver a certificate of title for a car sold at ISellTrux in Hampstead, a requirement under state law.
The arrest occurred on May 14.
According to investigators, Shallow did not issue a certificate of title or submit an application to the Bureau of Title and Anti-Theft within the New Hampshire Division of Motor Vehicles in Concord within the mandated time frame, which is more than four months past the sale date.
Shallow faces charges including two counts of Anti-Theft Laws: No Title To Transferee, and Failure to Deliver Title/Application, both misdemeanors.
He is expected to be arraigned on June 28 at 8 a.m. in the 6th Circuit Court – District Division in Concord.
