Street signs in Fletcher targeted by gunfire, police seek information

FLETCHER — Vermont State Police are investigating a case of vandalism after receiving reports of street signs being shot on Buck Hollow Road on May 11 at approximately 8:14 p.m.

Upon arrival, troopers discovered that multiple street signs had been hit with what seemed to be birdshot pellets.

The signs were visibly damaged, leading to an active inquiry into the destruction of public property.

Authorities have not identified any suspects at this time and are appealing to the community for assistance.

The Vermont State Police urge anyone with knowledge of the incident to come forward and contact the St. Albans Barracks at 802-524-5993.

The investigation is ongoing as officers work to gather evidence.
