Rutland man charged with disorderly conduct at Jericho high school

JERICHO — A Rutland man was arrested Saturday morning after causing a disturbance at a local high school, Vermont State Police reported.

Authorities said they received a call at about 9:07 a.m. regarding Joseph Kenneally, 48, acting disorderly at the Jericho Center Country Store.

As troopers headed to the scene, they were informed Kenneally had moved to the rear parking lot of MMU High School.

Upon arrival, state police identified and attempted to speak with Kenneally, who then tried to flee and continued to disrupt school activities.

Kenneally was apprehended and brought to the Williston State Police barracks for processing.

Kenneally has been cited to appear in Chittenden County Superior Court on charges of aggravated disorderly conduct.
