Derby Line Post Office welcomes new postmaster Ashley Rykhof

DERBY LINE — The Derby Line Post Office has welcomed Ashley Rykhof as its new Postmaster. Rykhof, who recently moved to Derby Line from Connecticut with her spouse and two dogs, is eager to bring her extensive experience and commitment to excellent service to her new role.

Having previously lived in New Mexico and Connecticut while working in management positions with the Postal Service, Rykhof is well-versed in the challenges and responsibilities of postal service management. Her background equips her to lead the Derby Line Post Office effectively and ensure a high level of service for the community.

“I am honored to be a part of this beautiful community and to serve as your Postmaster,” Rykhof said. She expressed her excitement about her new position and her dedication to making the post office a pivotal part of the community. Rykhof also invited local residents to visit the post office for their mailing and shipping needs and to personally greet the new team.

“We look forward to serving you and being your shipper of choice,” Rykhof added, underscoring her commitment to enhancing the customer service experience at the Derby Line Post Office.

The USPS is also hiring, stating that stabilizing the workforce has been a top priority for over the past two years. They have converted more than 150,000 pre-career workers into career positions since October 2020. They continue to hire to keep up with retirements and promotions nationwide.
