Avon police seek witnesses to hit-and-run that injured motorcyclist

AVON — Police are asking for the public’s help in tracking down a white four-door sedan involved in a hit-and-run accident that left a motorcyclist with serious injuries on Saturday evening.

The Avon Police Department reported that the collision happened around 7:09 p.m. on Waterville Road near Pine Hill Road.

The vehicle in question is said to have fled north on Waterville Road after striking the victim, who was riding a three-wheeled motorcycle.

Authorities have yet to release the identity of the victim or the extent of their injuries but are urging anyone who may have witnessed the crash or has any relevant information to come forward.
