SHELBURNE — A routine traffic stop led to the arrest of a Swanton man on multiple warrants Monday evening.

Vermont State Police troopers from the Williston Barracks stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation at the intersection of Spear Street and Webster Road at 8:04 p.m.

The driver, identified as Austin Blow, 23, was found to have two active in-state warrants for his arrest.

The warrants were issued after Blow failed to appear in court for charges including unlawful mischief, two counts of domestic assault, unlawful trespass of an occupied dwelling, and aggravated domestic assault with a weapon.

Blow was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Northwest State Correctional Facility, where he was held on a $5,000 bail.

He is scheduled to appear in Chittenden Court on May 7 at 8:30 a.m.
